Well, "not able to really test it" seems to be another way of saying
"I never had the program rnning". Which leads me to repeating my question:
Has ever anyone had X-stuff running with a -display option that uses tcpip?
In fact, I have set the local loopback device, had a hard time figuring out
how to set up, can now telnet to my machine, but whenever I do something like
xcalc -display linux:0
there is a certain number of requests that get handled, and then a fatal IO
error. Everything works fine with unix-sockets, but tcp is a loss.
So, if you have something going, please mail me information on how you did
it.
Thanks,
Bernie
