        I thought you would never ask :-). We are talking about the Rock Ridge
extensions to iso9660, and yes the linux filesystem does know about it. I
borrowed a RR disk from someone, implemented and tested it, and it all works,
at least as much as I have been able to test. I have not been able to test the
deep directories and the block and character devices because the disk that I
have does not have any of them. The b/c devices are simple enough that they
will probably work the first time, but I would not bet on the deep directories.
The code is all there, so in principle all it would ever need are bugfixes.
