The front end you mentioned is the application doc, a sample application
from the InterViews package. BTW, I found out by now that it only uses
something CLOSE TO LaTeX as an internal represantation of data, it never
even touches TeX.
doc is somewhere between ALPHA and BETA state - out of the box (this is,
the best way you may get it right now) it has two annoying bugs. First of all,
it doesn't use cursor keys (this is due to cursor keys not returning any
charater to XLookup<something>, and I have an ugly fix for it, which goes
into the library, I think). The second bug is that it only recognizes left
mousebutton, the middle and right one are ignored. This is really bad, as
you move and place lots of things with them. I have no idea why it behaves
like this yet, but I try to track it down (though my studies with oncoming
tests will delay this a little :-( ). Also, there is a new version (3.1beta3)
of InterViews available, so I'll probably try to get that one and work on with
it (lack of time also applies here). So please, right now doc is mainly for
looking what it could be like someday - or for writing hust plain text.
So long,
Bernie
