0.41 is on my HD, but due to local net problems, I can't put upload it
yet. I also get news with some delay. Some trivial compilation
problems like include files are fixed, some other minor bugs like scroll
regions too. The clients which worked under 0.3 now work again with the
transparent client/server protocol (no \r to \n mapping any longer). A
friend of mine who could test VGA stuff is just moving, so no news from
that. Some people claim that it works, others deny it. I can't test
anything right now.

Since scroll regions have a bug in 0.4 and most clients which compile
will *not* work, I removed 0.4 for now.

MGR never had a consistent version number (at least not visible to me,
with the original, MINIX ports and other stuff), so I started a new one
from 0.1 some months ago. This is a version number for the whole
package, not just the server.

True. Activity will get more in about two weeks, when I have more time.
First let me try to pass to exams and get four wisdom teeth pulled.

Then 0.5 will come out. I will work at VGA again and hope to have gdb
then on my system, to see what causes the rare crashes. I will also
test it on suns. Btw: I never had the _quit(): panic since weeks, so I
hope that I fixed that bug finally :)
