I have Linux installed on my RLL drive, the trick is the controller card,
the older RLL cards have their own BIOS on them and so you do not have to
define the drive in CMOS, you need to get an RLL card where you can disable
the BIOS and define the drive in CMOS, I have a ST-22R and it allows me
to do this.
