Not to FLAME or anything, but Linux is NOT a PORT of UNIX, it is a CLONE
written from SCRATCH. it is completely CLEAN from any ATT code. :)

Have you tried dos 5.0's fdisk /mbr? That is what I ended up doing. ;)
It seems that DOS 5.0 likes to be the ONLY OS to edit the partition table.
Chalk it up to 'Yet Another Microsoft Thing' ;)
