Mach386, as you might have guessed, is Mach for the 386. Specifically,
it's the Mach 2.5 microkernel with the BSD UNIX server on top.
Unfortunately, to even get a copy of Mach386 to play with, your
university needs a copy of the BSD/AT&T source code license.
I was attempting to get a site license for the University of Delaware
for Mach386 ... until, that is, I discovered Linux. ;)
I think the attempt to get Mach is still tied up in red tape, actually.
