Look on tsx-11.mit.edu in /pub/linux/packages/MGR (from memory). I've
got this version working under Linux, and it appears to be about as
solid as the Minix version was. Michael Haardt produced this version,
which he calls 0.4. It's apparently based on the latest Sun version
with bits and pieces from Linux people, Minix people, and Stephen Uhler
himself. I had to "lean" on the sources a bit before I could get them
to compile. Not all of the clients are ported, yet, so there's still
room to make a contribution.
If you want, you can join the MGR channel of arl's linux-activists mailing
list. Send mail to linux-activists-request@niksula.hut.fi to get an
auto-reply explaining how the mailing list works. The activity level
on the MGR channel fluctuates, and is generally insignificant when
compared to the volume of X-related stuff.
