I've used both the FD1680DNK package and the IN2000 (which you didn't
list, but is an excelent host addapter, imo) Does your friend nead
SCSI-2? If not you may want to consider Always (ie. the IN2000).
I had it until I decided that I neaded SCSI-2. My Miniscribe 9380S (a
standard SCSI drive) actually ran a bit faster under the IN2000 than the
FD1680 board.
