: Partition my 180MB Hard Disk into 80MB LINUX, and 100MB DOS.

The efdisk program is generally fairly good. You will obviously need to
backup all your dos stuff, as it will get erased when the re-partition is
done. Your best bet it to grab one of the very good root disks around,
as most of them have a nice 'hold your hand' approach to installing linux.

: I understand that MKFS only allows for up to 55MB on a partition...

The minix fs can be a maximum of 64megs. The extended file system has no
pratical limit, but is slower and probably has more bugs. (theretically it
is still in beta test).

: Also, it would be nice if I could boot up and choose either DOS or
: LINUX. I'm really searching for the simplest yet best solution without

Use LILO. Grab it from tsx-11 or somewhere similar.
LILO has a fairly complete explaination of what it's all about.
V nice docs from what I recall.

READ ALL THE DOCS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!

: I presume that OS/2's Boot Manager may be of assistance as well.
Only if you don't use LILO.
