I can make that number 2. There messages come up continously when the
hard disk is being accessed. Commenting out the message, and trying again
results in no visible signs except a frequent (every min or so)
"HD-reset". This stressed my nerves too much, so I downgraded to 0.97.6

I am running on a 486DX/33, with 8 megs of memory, and a 200 meg hard disk.
Hard disk is of un-known brand.
