Could you please stop changing the subject line? (posts about BYTE and
   tex/word)
Some of us use a kill file to ignore that crap.

Better yet, could people take the following discussions off
comp.os.linux? They don't belong here:

        * Discussions about how braindamaged certain companies or their
                products are:
                        - Byte
                        - Microsoft
                        - 386BSD
                        - AT&T

        * Discussions about how to desing the perfect video card

        * Discussions (more like flame sessions) about GNU and the GNU
                license.

        * Any other discussion not directly related.

If someone posts an article on any one of these topics, I urge you *not*
to reply on comp.os.linux. Instead, send that person a sharp rebuke
about how he shoulded have posted his off-topic article on
comp.os.linux. Only then, if you feel kindly at the moment, answer
his/her question. :-) But please, do this via email and not on
comp.os.linux. If everybody does this, it'll help cut the traffic down
a lot!
