Never happened; you understood wrong.

Ok, now I know there really is standard directory structure.
Also, I know people have different opinions.
Only solution to decide what is the correct structure, is to vote for
it as in Real Life.
If we don't vote or somebody doesn't act like dictator and decide it
for us, we never get the solution.
Vote is better.

Vote candidates:
1. Directory.7 by Michael Johnson
Any other candidates?
All candidates may be sent to me to jk87377@cs.tut.fi.
I will post them to this group in one article; I edit them
if I see that it is needed to present different choises for
individual directory at the same lines.
(See notes below also.)

So, we don't have to vote for that -- I will anyway check if somebody
would like to get other structure (for example, /dev/mt/ was not in
directory.7).

There's no hurry with this, so you have a week or so time
to make the candidates.
It is not necessary to make the whole directory structure for your
candidate suggestion; if you would like to suggest only one directory
to be made/deleted then it is ok. Just write a description for the
directory and/or reason for the creation/deletion.

If my instructions sounds blurry, then note me about it
and I will waste more time in writing instructions.
