Hi,

I still can't get linux to recognize a local bus SCSI controller.
This is on one of the newest HP Vectra machines, it has the SCSI (as
well as the video) on the motherboard, I haven't been able to figure
out if it is any particular 'make' or 'brand' or whatever.

What happens? I get '0 SCSI hosts detected' or similar, and fdisk
won't work with any of the /dev/[sh]d[abcde] (I tried them all) This
is with a fairly new kernel (the newest I found on nic.funet.fi, 0.98
something)

Has anybody installed Linux on a (new) HP with their local bus SCSI?
I'd love to hear from you, thanks! (I'll probably get my hands on the
docs for this box any day now, see what I can find out)

Thanks in advance,
