I have i similar problem on my machine at home: It boots, finds my Logitech
Busmouse, mounts the disks, gives me the login prompt - and THEN locks up.
I tried to bring home a copy of my boot-disk from work, where I have 0.98.p5
working without any trouble, but the result was the same.
Then I downloaded the new versions of the SLS boot/root-disks (a1 and a2) from
nic.funet.fi. It boots fine on disk a1, but when it has written the bootimage
to a floppy, it's the same old thing: I get the login-prompt - but the system
is locked (not even Num Lock, Caps Lock or Scroll Lock works)
I have no problems with 0.98.p1, so I guess I have to use that for a while.
