Subject: .98p5 and Logitech L7 bus mouse problem

Last night I was installing X on Linux (SLS .98p5). I got it working with
a serial mouse from another system but I had a problem with the bus mouse.

It is a Logitech L7 (or was that P7, I'm here, the mouse is 6 blocks
away). When I brought up X, I could only move the mouse cursor left and
down. It also appeared that the buttons were active when up. I ran
the mouse test program .../mouse and it pretty much confirmed my guesses.

Anyone else have these problems?

On another note, X is up and running on a Orchid ProDesigner II in
1024x768ni mode with no problems.
