I've noticed that sometimes doinstall doesn't correctly unmount /user
before starting the install, so when sysinstall checks for a successful
mount of disk3, it fails - as the system still thinks that disk2 is
there. You can force this issue by putting
umount $target (where $target is whatever sysinstall calls the mount
point. I don't have sysinstall in front of my right
now or I'd fill this in.)
in the sysinstall script, just above the place where sysinstall does its
mount.
