Hello, I recently grabbed the latest version of Linux of nic.funet.fi (I
think it is anyway...) and I got the puppy installed again (alot easier the
second time around, heh). But I cannot seem to get the system to untar and
uncompress rawrited floppies. It's really getting on my nerves.
I'm using .98 of both boot and root, and the command I found in one of the
multitudes of help files was something like tar -zxvf < /dev/at0. This does
not work as (a) z is not an option, and (b) when I take it out, the drive
isn't found, and (c) if I sub /dev/fd0 (found elsewhere) it won't recognize
the tar (I know it's a tar, I used DOS's untar, and that worked niftily).
Basically, I'm asking what the hell command line should I use to untar
a .tar.Z file rawritten to a 1.2M drive a:??? Thanks....
