I realize this type of thinking is very "old-fashion" but....
Some people (like me) find "consistent and user friendly" interfaces such as
those presented by NeXT and MacIntosh very annoying. Personally I like
X's user-unfriendlyness. When I work I want to pull up the application or
window and get at it. I hate dragging this thing over top of that icon and
pulling down those menu bars.
