I recently bought 14400 pbs modem/fax which has 16550 UART.
It comes with QCOMM software (MSDOS) in which I can diable/enable 16550.
How do I can I make use of 16550 in Linux ?
First, how do I know whether Linux recognized 16550 ?
The modem manual describes nothing about 16550.
One more queston. When I use kermit, it connects at 9600bps O.K.
When it transfers, it is not faster than 2400bps. Why is it so ?
Thanks in advance.
