I poked aound some more and found that nothing on A3 was being installed. It
seems that I get a message "stdin not in compressed format" while the install
script is trying to read the base tar.
I downloaded the complete SLS suite from the VWIS Linux Support BBS via zmodem
and copied the files (after a2) onto dos diskettes. Is there someway I could
have caused a byte ordering problem in this process?? Somehow it seems tar is
confused by my files...
