Yeah, did this myself...
uugetty uses a different syntax to getty..
ie. ..........:/bin/uugetty -t60 modem 2400
NOT 2400 modem
!!!!!!
Fortunately I had Norton's DiskEditor handy on the DOS 8-( Partition
and went searching for my inittab file, commented out the uugetty line so I
could boot again...
You can still get there if you have a boot disk and root disk around
(if not, GET ONE !!!!!!! Just get HJ's Bootable rootdisk, or one of the
countless others floating around, and boot of them, mount your hard disk
root filesystem onto /mnt, and restore your inittab...
