From: runefr@ifi.uio.no (Rune Fr|ysa) Subject: When will someone write a driver for the Trident 9000 card? Date: Sat, 14 Nov 1992 19:23:27 GMT
The header sais it all. When will a driver for running colors with the
Trident 9000 card come out? Currently all I get is 640x480 mono, with
800x600 virtual screen, which is to small for most aplications.
I heard someone claim that you would require some 150 MB HD to write one
yourself, has anyone got some extensive info on how this should be done?
BTW: I haven't come across any GCC manual yet, and I experience problems
running make on a program which works on SunOS 4.1.1, DEC 3100 and DEC 5000
with ULTRIX BSD 4.2, VAX3100 with BSD 4.3, IBM RT with BSD4.3,
IBM RS/6000 with AIX and HP9000-series (HP-UX).
My errors are like: implict declaration of malloc, calloc, syste, free ....
I assume that such problems may be fixed using some include directive. If
anyone knows how, please tell.
