SUBX/cxterm.tar.Z
Color xterm for X. <jennings@anchor.cs.colorado.edu>
L/packages/emacs-18.59/emacs-18.59a.tar.Z
emacs-bin-18.59a.tar.Z
emacs-etc-18.59a.tar.Z
x11emacs-bin-18.59a.tar.Z
emacs that works under linux 0.98 patchlevel 4, and
not below. Please note: If you want to use Xwindows
stuff under linux, then get x11emacs-bin-18.59a.tar.Z
It seems simple enough, but lots of people complain,
"My emacs doesn't work right under X" when they didn't
get the X version, and that info is in the README files.
DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO RUN UNDER ANY VERSION OF LINUX EARLIER
THAN .98PL4 Do not complain on the newgroup if it doesn't
work on .97pl6...
L/BETA/plp/plpsrc-0.1.tar.Z
beta release of a free lpr clone.
S/sbin/strace.tar.Z
System call tracer, source only. Branko Lankester
<lankeste@fwi.uva.nl> sent this in. Thanks, Branko.
Please note that the included kernel patches are not necessary
if you are using the .98pl4 kernel.
SUB/scm4a12.tar.Z
BUB/scm4a12.bin.tar.Z

Please Note:
I help /maintain/ the archives at tsx-11.mit.edu. These announcements
that I make are announcements that I have taken things that someone
/else/ has written, and made them available for public consumption at
tsx-11.mit.edu, somewhere in the hierarchy /pub/linux.
I am /not/, unless otherwise explicitly stated, the one to contact
about bugs in the programs -- Please look through the files that you
get for the name of the author. If program X has bug Y under
conditions Z, either mail the author, or post news about it. Stuff
sent to johnsonm@stolaf.edu about it will generally end up in the
great bit home in the sky, as I just don't have time to act as a
middleman and pass on bug reports. Sorry, but that's the way it is.
I do not guarantee that this is either complete or correct. I will
try to use, as I have used, the subject "New stuff at tsx-11..." to
facilitate WAIS and other searches.
When you upload files to tsx-11, please put them in the incoming
directory, using binary transfer mode when appropriate (almost
always), and then mail ftp-linux@tsx-11.mit.edu and tell us that the
file is there, and what it does.
