Subject: (append) Does someone port ImageMagick to Linux yet?

In article <Bxnx24.t4@mentor.cc.purdue.edu> you write:

I forgot to say in the last message that I did try to compile it,
but I failed to generate a makefile for my xfree86-1.1 of linux version.
When I run xmkmf command I got the following message:

    % mv Makefile Makefile.bak
    % imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X386/lib/X11/config
% In file included from /usr/X386/lib/X11/config/Imake.tmpl:892, from :3:
% /tmp/IIf.a00169:11: invalid preprocessor direction name
% /tmp/IIf.a00169:15: invalid preprocessor direction name
% imake: exit code 33. stop.

To cause someone's interest, the ImageMagick is a image processing tool,
and it can translate between different image format, such as: TIFF, postscript,
PCX,...

    Does some have any clue?

    Thanks advance!
