Ok, as you can see, I'm not posting this message from my Linux
machine. This is causing me great pain. I've installed the
mailpak-1.3 and have got elm and mail working locally. Mail sent
locally works cool. Only problem is, any mail I try to send outside
my system ends up in dead letter. I've got a paths file with my
smart-host defined, and I've tried it with smail and without...
Here's the way it all looks...

My paths file...

   smart-host bobsbox

Nothing else...

When I don't use smail, externally sent mail ends up in dead.letter.
Elm tells me the mail is sent. In my /usr/spool/uucp/bobsbox
directory, there is one file. The C.??? with the data

   S D.wefunkN0026 D.wefunkN0026 root -C D.wefunkN0026 0666
   S D.wefunkX0025 X.wefunkX0025 root -C D.wefunkX0025 0666

Nothing else. My mail is in /tmp/dead.letter, and I get no errors
beyond that. No logs for uux, nothing...

When I use smail, the same type of thing happens, but instead of
dead.lettering the mail, I get an "undelevered" error, with the error

   Error executing
        uux -aroot - bobsbox!rmail '(ludwig)'

So, anyone know what's going wrong?

Thanks...

Mitch

(By the way, please mail responses back as well as posting them.
It's near impossible to read the entire comp.os.linux...
