Let me add to that. Using SLS with <= 2Meg is probably not great.
SLS is designed to assemble a reasonably complete Unix system.
GCC, X11, TeX, and few other things are not really practical
in under 4Meg. If you have a low memory system you are better off
using one of the other packages out there. They are smaller and
more appropriate for those systems.
Nevertheless, some day I will look at using a bootable root disk
with lilo to optionally do the install.
