It is a better choice if you can't afford a full blown 486DX motherboard.
With the on board cache and memory management stuff, the 486SX 25 computes
quicker than a 386DX 33.

It is an OK chip, because if you shop around for the proper motherboard,
you can get one that allows you to upgrade to a DX by just changing chips
and a jumper.
