Subject: Problem with nntpd and use of INEWS [was smtpd]
Date: 1 Nov 1992 05:56:19 GMT

I have posted this to news.software.nntp but no takers on the
problem. I have also mailed to local users but i have had no
helpfull responce [other that my system works ok! and NO Idear]
so please any sensible comments that might indicate the problem,
welcome. You will see from the trace that i have a nntp session on soc
119 and that the error from inews saying that no nntp/tcp is somewhat
out of sync.

Ok this is a trace of what is going on.. and the error message that
comes from inews at the same time.

can any one see what the problem is... before i quit this version and
install new nntp.1.5.11 c/o ftp.uu.net /news ;-)
