Subject: [Help] Hard disk error messages..
Date: Sun, 1 Nov 1992 00:55:14 GMT

Recently, my setup of Linux (SLS 0.98p1) encountered a hard disk error.
It said that "HD: read_intr: status = 0x59" and "HD: read_intr: error = 0x80".
What do these messages mean? Is there any cure for them?

My system configuaration is:

        386 clone without math co-processor
        4 megabytes of RAM
one hard disk with 40 megabytes of storage

I appreciate for any information.
