I was a bit disappointed in failing to demonstrate linux installation and usage of linux in school to a couple of friends (potential Linux users). When I rawrite (rawrite version 2) rootimage to a 1.44meg drive A: installed on a 386sx machine, all I got is sector 1 not found (floppy is already formatted). But whats interesting is I can rawrite to my home computer's 1.44meg drive B:. The only difference is that the school 386sx has Novell IPX and NET system files installed and my home computer does not, cou
ld that be the problem or a bug in rawrite. It would be much easied to attract more potential Linux users If people don't have to go throught the inconvenience of swtiching drive cable to make their drive A: 1.2meg drive.
Any comment or help is appreciated.
