Subject: How do I make my mouse work?

Hi!

   I have installed X windows on Linux, and everything seems to work
except my mouse, a Sicos mouse, which should be both Microsoft and
Mousesystems compatible. However, no matter which I select in Xconfig,
the mouse presses the buttons by itself and the mouse cursor moves
randomly on the screen. The -istrip trick does not help.

   I really hope there's someone out there, who can help me.
