Hi:
following a posting (sorry forgot the name of the poster) I
increased the number of pty's in the header file tty.h to 16
(originally it was 4). While I can have much more windows
open in X with the larger number, the speed of the machine is
way slower than with just 4 pty's. This is particularly obvious
with the scolling of the xterminal and with copiling. Has anyone
had this experience?
        I have a 386sx 16 with 8mb ram and 5mb swap.
