Subject: Kermit(5A) with pre-0.96
Date: 5 May 1992 06:02:42 GMT

running pre0.96 w/ 2mb real and 4mb swap on a Zenith turbosport386:

Running the version of Kermit(5A) which came on the mcc-interim disks
for 0.95c+ under Pre0.96 I find that at the Kermit-C> prompt I only
get the first character of my line echoed. This is annoying becaus I
can't see what I have typed. When I hit Enter I get the rest of the line
drawn, and a beep or two if I tried to backspace to before the start of
the line.

Is this a problem others have seen? Should I be using a newer version
of kermit? If so which one, and where do I get it?

Thanx

Pre.S.
Thank You to Linus and all the others who have provided me with an escape
from MESS-DOSS, and the ability do actually accomplish something on my
machine.
