For those of you who were complaining about not seeing much traffic on
the digest list: The Linux-Activists@news-digests.mit.edu software was
using the same software as the Perl-Users mailing list, and so it was
hit with the same bug. Oops..... I should have looked at the perl
script a bit more carefully. Sorry 'bout that!

I forgot to remove a June '91 hack to avoid digestifying a bunch of old
reposted articles that were coming in from USENET. The hack just discarded
articles which matched (case-insensitively) the regular expression

    date:[^m]*may

That caused most of the articles received over the past four days to be
ignored. The next few digests will contain them all along with repeats of
the few that escaped the axe in the first place.

I'm sorry for the interruption.
