Please join the Linux Manual Project. There is a mailing list,
linux-man@stolaf.edu (mail linux-man-request@stolaf.edu to join) that
is working on a Hitchhikers' Guide to Linux and on a Kernel Hackers'
Guide to Linux, and several other projects as well (man pages, texinfo
stuff).
