rather than trying to keep up with every single patch for linux, i'm still
running 0.95b, and the built-in vga support doesn't like my video card
(low-end stb something or other). all i want is 132x30+ text mode, but the
initial choices for selecting a vga mode don't work on my system.
anyway, does the current version have the videodef.h or equivalent patch
built-in? just before the 0.95c+ upgrade, there was a posting (by Linus, i
believe) with a uuencoded vgaregs.exe program and src patches for a
/dev/vga. is all this in the current version?
thanks.
