As is Dan, I'm starting to wonder if X is real or just some sort of
a cruel joke... I don't remember having this much trouble with it
at work.
Anyway, I don't even get as far as Dan. I still get the KD_SETMODE
error - I've uncommented the font path line, it's set correctly, I've
been through all the FAQs and INSTALLs and READMEs and on and on...
I just can't see what I'm missing. But I've wasted far too much time
stabbing in the dark already. If anyone has had this sort of ridiculous
trouble, I'd like to hear from you and what you did to get it working...
