I saw a post from someone who got the recently posted lp, lpd, and
lpstat for minix to compile and run under linux. They said that
they only had to change the chmod syntax in the makefile. I
made those changes, and it compiles fine. The only problem is
that it doesn't print ( yes I am using the right device ).
It appears to make the correct status files, but lpstat
doesn't _usually_ report that any jobs are waiting.

Any ideas?

P.S. I also tried the "minicom" program posted to the minix
group a few days ago. It compiles and runs, but it seems
to have a little trouble with the screen. The status bar
eventually gets messed up and keeps flashing on and off,
and I have also had it hang up on calls unexpectedly.
