Subject: Problem to use binaries files (shared lib)

I have downloaded some binaries files from ftp sites, when I executed them
all get the following error message:
        general protection : 0000
        EIP : 000f:03FFFFFF
                ...
                ...
                ...
        64 8a 04 0b 0f a1 25
        Memory fault

And if I compiled by gcc without -static, the same problem happen. (No
problem when using -static)

Could somebody please tell me how to set up the Linux for the shared
libraries (I think that is the problem.) ?
