Hmm, strange you say you can't run X, and yet you specify a machine
that it capable of doing so (apart from the mouse, which cost all of
15 quid these days!). Last night I installed X in a 16 Mhz 386sx
with all of 2Mb of ram and 20 Mb of hard disk, and it seemed to be useable
(apart from the mouse being the wrong type so X didn't recognise it),
but the speed seemed up to scratch (I was trying to swap a bit too much,
but another 2Mb would fix that).
