        Send dummy mail to Linux-Activists-request@niksula.hut.fi
and you'll get an user guide. If you don't get mail back,
our mailer (== MX world i.e. [rest of the world - your site])
don't know you. [myhost.uucp is not known, as your site
myhost is probably not known uucp site in Finland or in
Europe, but myhost!foobar@uunet.uu.net is magically known ;-]

Remember, that we try to keep discussion high (hacker
talking) on these channels else the whole idea will
loose (news are for line noise).

If you're able to join after reading the user guide,
you are probably a hacker ;-)

        Take a channel list first.

: I beleive that the problem is with my address,

        hmmm.. maybe.

I don't put people on manually, because then I have to remove
them also manually after they have sent million unsubscribe
mails to channels I never read.

Linux-Activists (like other mailing lists) are for _fast_
communication for a small group. News for slow (we get here
articles 1-3 days late, depends) for a very large group.
