Subject: dvips problems

Hi,

I have downloaded the dvips binary from tsx-11.mit.edu, and
when I try and run it on any dvi file I get a segmentation fault. It
gets as far as printing up its header, the filename, and goes through
<texc.pro><special.pro>, and then after [1 there is a general protection
message. It produces part of a postscript file, which seems to stop some
where in what I assume is the font definition, i.e. there are a large
number of hexadecimal digits, with some extra stuff between ><'s.

If anyone has had this problem in the past or could suggest a
fix please let me know.

        Thanks

John
