I have had similar experiences with tsx-11, but only when I cause tsx-11 to
not find a filename. If I don't mistype anything, I'm okay, but when I refer
to a name that isn't there the tsx-11 server gets very confused. That or it
confuses my FTP client; somebody want to ftp tsx-11 in Very Verbose Mode and
see what the heck it's doing? And fix it?

Banjo works okay, I think. I'm using IRIX 4.0.1 on this side of the FTP.

If you can't find a rootimage-0.96c, get a rootimage-0.96. Almost everything
is identical. Don't forget to get (and compile) the source to ps if you
build and install kernel 0.96 pl2.
