Has something gone wrong somewhere along the road from (I think) pre-0.96
and 0.96. My machine is not the best for what I want to do, 25MHz 386,
2 Megs RAM, 8 Meg swap partition, but in the past it was perfectly usable.

Re-compiling the kernel took about 3/4 hr, X was usable, just.
Now, recompiling - 2 1/4 hrs
X is a pig. Running xlock (for kicks), the swarm of bees (or whatever)
look like they are flying through pea soup!! - they didn't used to.

Is this some unique problem, or have others noticed it.

Cheers,

Scott.
