Hy folks,

I'm working with Linux 0.96a and X for several weeks, great system :-)

today I tried to install 0.96c form <wowbagger.pc-labor.uni-bremen.de>

Booting 0.96c works fine :-)
Installing GCC-2.2.2 works fine :-)
Compiling 0.96c works fine :-)

Now I tried to run X, but now I have a jumping mouse :-(

               **** The same FUCK OF LOGI I've read about ****

So I installed X11/v1.1, hoping that my logi stops jumping, but now
if I type startx I only get a black screen :-(

So I made a one night stand of downpatching to 0.96a+Socketpatch, and now
I have my a already running 0.96a+ with X11/v1.0 back :-)

But can somebody tell me what can be wrong :-)

    - Is there a patch for 0.96c witch makes the logimouse running
      as usual "Mousesystems" ?
    - Why do I get a black screen if running X11/v1.1 ?

PS : Oh yes i tried out "Mousesystems", "Microsoft", and "Logitech" in
     Xconfig. And I have <less> all the FAQ's :-)
