Subject: Any one have luck with WD8003 driver and KA9Q
Date: 23 Jul 1992 18:46:31 GMT

I applied the WD8003 patches to 96c pathlevel 0, and with some hand
intervention got it to compile. However, the activity with ka9q
is not promising. Only a few packets get through before it hangs.
The hardware setup works with DOS and NCSA, 386BSD.
Plus the interrupt sections of the kernel are now somewhat changed
with the patchelevel 1 and 2 stuff.
It would be nice to have the tcp stuff going. In respect the
386BSD dist. has a leg up. On the other hand we have X, shared libs,
gcc-2.2.2, etc.
