I am attempting to compile a list of books that are helpful with linux.
What we need are books on the following topics:
administration
networking
uucp
mail
tex
emacs
X
gcc
and lots more. ;)
I prefer book suggestions be submitted with the following format:
Last, First M. : Title of book, date, ISBN, brief description.
You can add more info if you want, this is just a rough guideline. ;)
I notice there have been MANY posts lately recommending this or that book,
If you just recommended one, let me know!!
I will make this list available at tsx, and I might be able to convince a root
disk maintainer or two to include it in .Z on a root disk ??
What we need most right now wrt root disks, is some nice documents that are compressed. ;)
