Hmmm... I'm running the mcc-interim/X11 package from sc.tamu.edu (Dave, give
this thingie a name. Please! <g>) on a generic 386/40 with 8MB without a
problem. Maybe there's a memory problem with your machine? Linux seems to
be pretty adept at finding weak parts of machines.
