Er, which flavor of Linux? mcc-interim, for example, doesn't seem to know
w. Who says there's only one user, as it should when only one vt is awake.
Add another use and... surprise! two users are listed.
There are at least 5 flavors of Linux around so it matters when you say
something has a problem.
